 Paintings

“A work of art does not appeal to the intellect. It does not appeal to the moral sense. Its aim is not to instruct, not to edify, but to awaken emotion… Details in the picture must be elaborated only enough fully to reproduce the impression that the artist wishes to reproduce. When more than this is done, the impression is weakened or lost, and we see simply an array of external things which may be very cleverly painted, and may look very real, but which do not make an artistic painting.”

-George Inness, 1825-1894

My paintings include various techniques that I have refined over time through experimentation. I explore different materials as well as surfaces. The process for each technique is described below for:  Painting on Canvas; Painting on Glass with Image in-Relief; Reverse Painting on Glass; Reverse Painting on Glass with Graphic Overlay; and, Painting on Glass with Sculpture in-Relief.

NOTE: For original art pieces, you will be given in invoice and bill of sale once the purchase is confirmed. See the Original Artwork Purchase information to learn more.
