Carribean Oceanscape is a painting on canvas with water-based paint, opalescent pigments and pearlized and clear gloss. Multiple layers of paint and clear gloss create an in-relief effect of the multi-colored skyline reflected on the brilliant expanse of Carribean ocean. Mica based pigments enhance the reflection of filtered sunlight across turbulent waves.
Utilizing pigmented inks and the highest resolution and widest gamut printer available, Sohn Fine Art produces stunning works of exhibition quality pigment prints (also known as giclee prints). The paper/substrate I use is Innova Cold Press 315 gsm – Natural White, Textured Watercolor; or Hahnmuhle German Etching 315 gsm - Bright White, Textured Watercolor -- depending on the colors and textures dictated by the painting.
Prints can be produced at any custom size up to 44”X 48”. All images include a ½” to 1” border (depending on the image size). Special orders of prints on fabric can also be arranged. Prints are made on demand and take 2-4 weeks for delivery.
