Dr. Seuss Garden is a painting on glass that has multiple layers of paint to raise the image of the whimsical flower garden in-relief. Opalescent pigments added to the transparent gloss add the shimmery nature of the multicolored petals. The many layers of paint add to the various lush textures of the plants.
Utilizing pigmented inks and the highest resolution and widest gamut printer available, Sohn Fine Art produces stunning works of exhibition quality pigment prints (also known as giclee prints). The paper/substrate I use is Innova Cold Press 315 gsm – Natural White, Textured Watercolor; or Hahnmuhle German Etching 315 gsm - Bright White, Textured Watercolor -- depending on the colors and textures dictated by the painting.
Prints can be produced at any custom size up to 44”X 48”. All images include a ½” to 1” border (depending on the image size). Special orders of prints on fabric can also be arranged. Prints are made on demand and take 2-4 weeks for delivery.
