Spring Showers (Limited Edition Print)

Spring Showers began with an experiment in using the Reverse Painting technique to indicate heavy rain fall. This painting incorporates water-based opaque paint and opalescent pigments to heighten the effect of the lustrous dewy petals and leaves. The garden elements were painted on the front of the glass as a graphic overlay.
Utilizing pigmented inks and the highest resolution and widest gamut printer available, Sohn Fine Art produces stunning works of exhibition quality pigment prints (also known as giclee prints). The paper/substrate I use is Innova Cold Press 315 gsm – Natural White, Textured Watercolor; or Hahnmuhle German Etching 315 gsm - Bright White, Textured Watercolor -- depending on the colors and textures dictated by the painting.
Prints can be produced at any custom size up to 44”X 48”. All images include a ½” to 1” border (depending on the image size). Special orders of prints on fabric can also be arranged. Prints are made on demand and take 2-4 weeks for delivery.
